Our server was funny with her comment "I know you're not a quitter" when my face glazed over at the last piece of pizza she was phenomenal with keeping water refreshed. “ The restaurant is quite large, and the layout of the tables and booths make the room look quite empty - especially in the off season. This is American Italian so that's the decor to expect. To start, I had a margarita (I don't know why I chose that with Italian food) which came in the size of a pint glass and only cost $9; great deal! We ordered fried ravioli for an appetizer and they were delicious! I had the pasta bolognese which was very good and the wife had Zuppa de Pesce which she loved. The meals come with a side salad and pepperoni bread and the meals itself are very large portions (even the seafood) so come hungry! Our server was very nice and polite, but after a large party came in, was having a hard time making his way back. It appeared they were understaffed, so I don't put that necessarily on him as he was great when he would come around. ”
“ Came with another couple and we were all very happy. I split a lasagna and caeser salad with my bf, the other couple did the same. We also received warm bread which was amazing. The lasagna portion was huge, enough for both of us and the flavor was perfect. I ordered a glass of red from their wine menu, it was a great compliment to the food. Service was really good, our waitress was pleasant and helpful and made the meal a winner. Ambiance inside was nice, Joey's has a nice vibe and is well appointed inside. Our table was comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If you find yourself on Marco Island give it a try. ”
“ Really, really good food with large portions. Waitress was very pleasant. I recommend the chicken parm and the bolognese. They easily accommodate large groups of people. Don't be fooled by the waterfront tourist traps. Come here instead and have a great meal. ”
